This blog post has been a long time coming. In the midst of the busy-ness I have slowly been able to get this blog put together. It has about double the photos than I usually have in a wedding blog...not sure why...AND I desperately wanted to share their vows with you. Abby and Mason Weber wrote the MOST beautiful and heartfelt and fun vows for one another. Many of us that heard them that day in the beautiful and wet open space at Prentice Park in Ashland, Wisconsin wanted to review them again. I'm going to attempt to mix them in within the photos. Abby had the most amazing dress! Her bouquet had a bit of something blue...a piece from Salem Baptist Church's stained glass windows that survived the fire (October 2015). Her something borrowed was from her grandmother, a bracelet. The superhero comic flowers in the bouquets and the matching bowties...the Lego superhero boutonnieres, the amazing coordination between superheroes and elegant, fun and flirty, crazy amazing and gorgeous! Sheesh! Completely stunning job Mom Weber of Red Bicycle in Ashland! Don't forget to notice the use of Mason Jars as well...the groom's name is Mason! hehe! Would you ever guess the flowers were not real? Ahhh. So beautiful! Everyone and everything. Barefoot and all! ;)
The "minefields" that Abby talks about her vows comes from this amazing song that is Abby and Mason's song - heard both at the ceremony and the reception: Dancing in the Minefields by Andrew Peterson.
