Kate and Kyle met in class while at school. Eventually they became boyfriend and girlfriend. Through some outside circumstances Kyle was able to move in with Kate's family and has been very loved and had wonderful opportunities to learn and grow. He has even competed in and represented Team USA at the 2017 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Austria! Katelynn was first to participate in Special Olympics and introduced Kyle to her world of sports and competing. She even represented Team Wisconsin at the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games in Princeton, New Jersey!
Kyle proposed in Disney while they were there with Katelynn's family for a wedding. She, of course said yes!
I have had the honor of photographing each of them for their senior portraits along with their engagement photos and wedding. Our small group from church often meets in the Fulweber home so it was great to be able to see both Kate and Kyle pretty regularly... usually playing video games with each other but they are each in their own rooms with a headset on!
Their wedding was held at the Chula Vista Resort and Waterpark in the Wisconsin Dells. It was a beautiful and warm day for the outdoor ceremony and then we headed in for the indoor ballroom reception. The wedding was gorgeous and meaningful. My husband had the joy of officiating the wedding and used a fun illustration that has stuck (hehe) with all of us that were at the wedding. Kate and Kyle were encouraged to stick together like Peanut Butter and Jelly. Remain in God's love and keep sticking together!
