Do I Get the digitals?

Actually, you do. I include digitals in each package. BUT, I want to ask you something. . . Do you have hundreds of images on your computer or on a disk or flash drives sitting in drawers? Do you have an outdated family portrait on your wall because there are so many photographers out there and you don't who to choose? Have you had "print photos" on your to-do list forever because you don't have the time or don't know where or how to print your images or are worried that the prints won't turn out? 

Do you wish you had joy-filled photos that you LOVE hanging on your walls but don't know where to begin? Let me walk alongside you through the photography experience so that your children (and you!) can see how amazing they are each day as they walk into the room with their beautiful face on the wall in your home. The little ones may squeal with delight! The older, more reserved ones may beam with pride on the inside knowing how loved and beautiful they are because they see with joy who they are right in front of them, not the often damaged and distorted view they have of themselves in their heads or in front of the mirror. Let's do this together!

The best way to preserve your photos is to print them! Who knows if tomorrow the internet will be the internet, or if flash drives will work, or DVDs or the cloud…they’re all great now, but printing is really where you’ll have a legacy saved to pass down from generation to generation!

What should I wear to my session?

First of all, know that I will be sending you a great resource with more information than the following but here’s some information to get you started.

For outfits, type in a google search "what to wear photography" and add the season if you'd like. It will bring up a selection of images with amazing color and clothing ideas and combinations!

Secondly, wear what makes you feel and look good! Something you love! 

Seniors choose a classic "you" outfit, something fun and something dressier/more professional. 

Families, choose a combination of colors using that google search that coordinates with the part of your home decor where you will be hanging your largest wall art. 

Guys, tiny plaids sort of freak out the camera, if you’re going to wear plaid, try to choose something bigger. Jackets are great for hiding tummies if you’re concerned.

Ladies here are some fun tips! …If you’re worried about your arms, wear a longer sleeved shirt, if you’re worried about your backside, wear a longer shirt in the back, if you’re worried about your legs, avoid short skirts.

I will pose you and direct you to look wonderful! My clients tell me over and over that they were not expecting to have fun but actually did!

Where do we go for our session?

For College Students - we’re going to find the best locations on campus unless you book an off-campus session and we’re headed out of the city to a beach or an amazing field or even traveling to another state - let’s go!

For High School Seniors and families - we’re going to go somewhere within 20-45 minutes of North Branch, depending on what package you book. 45 minutes gets us to amazing locations in the cities, 20 minutes gets us to gorgeous fields and towns around us!

What do you mean by friend groups?

For college students, seniors and sorority sessions I would love for you to bring your besties - your roommates, your sorority sisters, your exec team, your classmates in the nursing or law or any program - whatever group of people you want photos with. You get to SHARE the cost of the session (woot woot!) and have a blast together getting photos done!

High School Seniors - maybe you’re wondering, “Well, can I do that? Can I book a friend group session and do the same thing?” My answer is a resounding, “YES!! Absolutely you can! Just know allll of your mommas or whomever is significant in your life is going to want to come (and that will be a blast). Also, please be sure you are okay with sharing your session time with your friends (and please share the cost). It’s one of just a few times in your life that you get to be treated VERY special so if you want that just for yourself, that’s fantastic too!
