Anyone else love office supplies? Sticky notes, sharpies, planners oh my! But I’m not a fan of “The Office” - go figure! What’s your favorite body of water? Mine is Lake Superior!

These are mostly cell phone photos but I want to share my family with you! They are wonderful, crazy, fun, and wild! I love them tons! They do drive me crazy at times, but I know I drive them crazy too! :)

• baking, recipes, going out to eat, time around the table -especially finding new foods that my Celiac guys can have or new FODMAP friendly foods that I can have

• Sherwin-Williams Blustery Sky (blue paint color) **swoon!

• laughter, smiles & hugs

• getting house projects completed

• checking off a list (even adding a task just to check it off!)

• helping marriages thrive! (both my husband and I come from a long line of divorces in our families)

• gaining new friends through my photography business

• traveling and seeing new things

• getting my hair professionally colored (I’ve been coloring since I was about 22, started getting gray hairs at 17 and have been completely gray/white for a really long time but I still feel like I’m 25!)

• baby Yoda! (ie Grogu)

• R2D2 (when we went to Hollywood Studios at Disney in 2021, I dragged Coop with me to make R2 and BB8 because I really wanted them! ha! They boys got to make Legacy Lightsabers! It was all SO cool to our Star Wars nerdy family!)

A few years ago we moved from Ashland, Wisconsin to the Chisago Lakes area of Minnesota (just north of the Twin Cities) for my husband’s work. We really enjoy being so close to Minneapolis and St. Paul and all the beautiful barn venues like Ivory North, Abella, Creekside, Erickson’s, the new Pondview Farm and Redeemed Farm and all the lovely towns like Taylors Falls, Stillwater, Osceola and Lindstrom for all the activities and for amazing locations for graduating Senior sessions! We do truly miss Lake Superior! (insert puffy heart!!!) and are so glad that we're still not too far from Duluth, MN. Our boys attend Chisago Lakes Schools even though we live in North Branch (it’s a long story why) but it all boils down to the MARCHING BAND! And CLHS has an incredible Marching Band that we love and are very involved in! Our daughter is attending Gustavus Adolphus College, studying Music Education.

One of the best things about being a Minneapolis St. Paul area wedding and portrait photographer is that my wonderful clients help me to discover more and more of the beauty of the areas we get to live!
