This beautiful couple wanted a small and simple wedding. They are currently in the process of building an exquisite inn on the top of Ski Hill Road near Big Top Chautauqua so it became the perfect spot for their intimate ceremony! It's the same place they will live but it's also the same location David proposed to Anna!
The natural light streamed in on both the top floor where the Anna's sisters and mom helped her get ready and on the main floor where her extended family waited for the special celebration. Her sisters streamed in their sister Amy from New Zealand and that made the day even more special! {Amy is a sweet friend of mine and has been my intern for a couple years so every time I saw her on the phone screen with her tears I would start to cry as well!}
Anna's dad is the pastor at Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Washburn where Anna and David met so what a priveledge and a blessing to have the officiant be her dad. This, of course, caused for an increase in emotion and tears for all of us in the room! It made me think of my husband, who is also a pastor, if God would allow, officiating the weddings of our 4 children!
It was a cold winter day but an incredibly beautiful day inside and out of both the ceremony location and the reception location (a gorgeous home of family friends on Lake Superior).
Timber Baron Inn will be open when it's ready! Check it out when you can!
