So we're at the Women's Conference and there are a few good men there who are on the worship team. At one point, the speaker pauses and asks if the bass player (she knew him by name by this point) was married..."No, I'm not," he says....Well, she says, God has someone to be your wife. (something like that). So, all of Phil's friends were feeling like they should be on the lookout for his bride but quite a bit of time passed and nothing seemed to come about. Doubts crept in. The wait seemed long. Then the night of the Salem Church fire, different flames were kindling elsewhere. She went to a Halloween party alone not knowing that he would be there. He was playing bass in the band and didn't know her at all. She walked in, they locked eyes and they haven't stopped talking since! Now mind you, she was at said conference! She had an instant hot flash when the speaker said that to her now husband! She had no idea why! Now she does! They are a beautiful family of 5 in the house now and many more family and friends to love and be loved by them!
